A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, passed away this week following a November disclosure of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.

In a personal essay this past fall, she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
This condition is a malignancy that targets the blood and bone marrow.
